Why we based our Clinic in Cyprus

In the year before we opened our clinic, we compared all the European/EU countries in detail to ensure that our patients would get the best treatment options, the best quality of care, the best prices and the best accessibility. We wanted to build the clinic we wished we had when we were ill. Or as Dr. Jaeger in her latest interview with our co-founder Markus Klotz said: ‘The place of his dreams’.
In February 2022 we opened the Apheresis Center in Larnaca, Cyprus. To date it is the only English-speaking clinic that offers Help Apheresis and Combination Therapy.
Why did we choose to base our clinic in Cyprus?
Cyprus of all European and EU countries offers the best of all worlds for international and local patients:
- English is one of the two official languages of Cyprus and Cypriots are renowned for their warmth and hospitality.

A little silent round tour of our clinic
It really is this silent – and if needed even much less bright. And there is always a silent and comfortable bed in a separate room for you to rest or wait.
Our clinic was founded by former sufferers of chronic conditions, therefore our lived experience is reflected in every single detail in the clinic. From a separated waiting area where patients can lie down to rest, to low light and low noise environment – every single detail was designed under the influence of our lived experience.
The Combination Therapy (The Cyprus Protocol) based on Help Apheresis was born from our own recovery stories through it’s application on ourselves and our family members.
Linked to the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite in the eastern Mediterranean, Cyprus transcends its reputation as a sought-after holiday destination to present a compelling proposition for medical tourism. The documentary aired in June 2024. A team of journalists from European TV channel ARTE TV accompanied three of our Long Covid and Post Vac Syndrom patients and interviewed them and our team at the Apheresis Center. International Expert Conference
Apheresis Center at the International Expert Conference – Hidden Drivers of Post Covid Dysfunction
Our co-founder Markus Klotz took the stage at a powerful panel discussion exploring the lasting impact of COVID – diving into persistent immune, microbiome, mitochondrial, and clotting dysfunction.
For the first time some of the world’s leading scientists, clinicians and researchers were brought together to explore the hidden drivers behind Long COVID and post-vaccine syndromes.
Participants were Dr Philip McMillan, Professor Brigitte König, Professor Resia Pretorius, Dr Sabine Hazan, Markus Klotz and Dr Shankara Chetty. Read more in our blog here
