Letter from the Doctor

When you walk through our clinic doors, you may see machines, monitors, and clinical equipment, but what I see is courage. Every day, without fail, you choose to show up for your health even when the journey feels long, tiring, or uncertain. I want you to know that we see you, and you inspire every single member of our team.

People often ask me why I chose to work in Apheresis. The truth is simple, to help you heal.
This field isn’t just about procedures or lab values, it’s about the people behind them. It’s about how your days have been unfolding. The good parts, the hard parts, and everything in between.

I also want to acknowledge something important – we understand that receiving treatment can feel overwhelming. You are balancing work, family, and personal responsibilities. During this time, you are possibly navigating physical limitations, a new diagnosis, new emotions, and new habits. There may be days you feel strong and hopeful, and other days you feel drained before you even sit down in the chair.
Both are completely okay.

Please remember that you can be open with us. You’re allowed to be tired. You’re allowed to ask questions. You’re allowed to share concerns, or to just sit quietly if that’s what you need.
Your experience matters just as much as your clinical results.

Behind the scenes, our team is dedicated to making your time with us as comfortable as possible. We pay attention to the subtle shifts in your expression and posture when you walk in, whether today feels manageable, overwhelming, or somewhere in between.”

As your doctor, my promise is this, you will always be heard! You will always be respected! You will always be cared for with compassion!
Your treatment plan is not something we do to you, but something we do with you, every step of the way.

Thank you for letting us be part of your healing. It is a privilege we cherish and thank you for teaching us daily about what resilience truly looks like.

With respect and warmth,
Dr Inbar Almon Tofan
Apheresis Medical Director
